The attached report, "Sustainable Production of Commercial Woodfuel: Lessons and Guidance from Two Strategies" reviews two of the most notable forestry strategies aimed at producing sustainable commercial woodfuels: 1) Community Based Woodfuel Production (CBWP); and 2) Forest Replacement Associations (FRAs).
It reviews these experiences under different political and geographical contexts, and extracts lessons which could guide the development of new energy forestry initiatives.
